My husband and I moved here with our two teenagers in the summer of 2007. Our daughter, a senior at the time, was extremely reluctant to make a move her senior year. Once she attended girls' basketball camp, though, and met the team, the coaches, and the high school staff, she jumped into life in Tonganoxie with both feet and has never looked back. Our son, on the other hand, was thrilled to be moving up here, and within 10 minutes of figuring out how to spell "Tonganoxie" knew what position everyone played on the football team, how much everyone could benchpress, and how fast the members of the track team were.  

We've been here four years now, and still agree that this was a great move for us to make with our family. We love the Tonganoxie area, the people, and the life we lead here.
